for students who have taken Algebra 2
Intended for students who are testing this fall and winter, these classes prepare students for both the current paper SAT and digital adaptive SAT. This is because students who test in fall/winter 2023 will take a paper SAT, a digital PSAT, and likely a digital SAT in spring.
*Please let us know if you student is targeting NMSQT scores. We will place them in a cohort of other students targeting these scores.
for students who have NOT taken Algebra 2
Intended for students testing in spring 2024, these summer classes focus exclusively on the digital adaptive PSAT and SAT. With the understanding that students will not test for several months, these classes build fundamentals and strategies that ensure long term success on the new, adaptive format.

What happens after I register?
Someone from our team will contact you within 24 hours of registering to answer any questions you have and to confirm payment details. You and your student will also be sent login information for your tutoring portals. This will allow you to access and sync your class calendar.
What do the Skills & Strategies classes cover?
Students start by learning the overarching skills and strategies that allow them to navigate the digital, adaptive SAT more effectively. This includes, but is not limited to:

Gaining insights into how the exam makers design test questions, score the test, and create the new adaptive format.

Developing a plan of attack when it comes to reading passages, understanding questions, and using the new, digital annotation tools in the digital platform.

Learning the fundamental skills and nuanced language rules that are necessary to succeed on the Writing section.

Understanding best patterns and practices for the notoriously tricky questions and strenuous pacing of the Math section.

Identifying a time management that enables students to not only survive, but thrive during a 2+ hour exam!
Will my student take practice tests?
In addition to live classroom time, students will have access to unlimited practice tests. Every test they take will be scored, reviewed, and analyzed by Marigold Prep, and every family will receive a data-driven report with detailed and personalized feedback.
How many students are in each class?
Classes run with a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 6 students to ensure personalized, comprehensive, and collaborative instruction.
What are the payment details?
Credit card information is required to hold your student's spot, but we will not charge your credit card. Instead, someone from our team will follow up with you within 24 hours to discuss and confirm payment options, including possible payment plans.
